Lara is a native of Massachusetts, land where the letter R has lost all meaning and significance, who now finds herself on the Jersey Shore, surrounded by surf, sand and Jersey Swag.  

She is mother to an only son to whom she attributes most of her gray hairs. Adventures in parenting have provided tears and laughter, and some great one-liners. 

Lara writes because she is a born storyteller.  Humor is central in her telling – if we cannot laugh, life is not worth living she suggests. Lara enjoys the internal space and process of imagining characters and voices. 

Lara is wickedly creative, a little crazy, and an ingenious problem solver. She is full of opinions – even if no one asked. And Lara adds, to be known and to be loved is the greatest gift.
